Mimi Kung: Finding a partner is not that important at my age
23 Oct – Hong Kong actress Mimi Kung has recently made her first public appearance since confirming her divorce from Taiwanese husband Li Wen in September this year.
As reported on Wenweipo, the actress, who appeared at the promotional event of her new drama, "Finding Her Voice" alongside Hugo Ng recently, stated that she is happy to work with Hugo yet again in the said drama, adding that each collaboration with the actor has been very different and enjoyable.
"It's different for every drama, and we cooperate well," she said.
Asked if she is looking for new love now that her divorce is known, Mimi said that she will wait for Hugo to introduce one to her.
"But I think looking for the other half is not that important at my age. For me, the most important thing is the mentality, to do what you want to do. I want to act," she said.
In early September, Mimi confirmed that she and husband Li Wen have actually been divorced for the past two years due to irreconcilable differences.
Said Mimi's manager, "They both live in two different places for a long time. Different locations and lifestyles made both sides feel that they need their own space. The children also understood and respected their decisions."
