Miles Ocampo excited about first lead role
14 Nov – Miles Ocampo is excited about her new movie, "Write About Love" as it would be her first ever attempt at playing a leading role in the 15 years since she became an actress.
As reported on Push, the actress, who spoke about the new project, stated that prior to being offered the lead in the movie, she had had asked herself as to why it has taken so long for her career to get to where it is.
However, retiring from showbiz has never crossed her mind.
"Since I was young, this is what I had wanted to do. The conflict was my schooling, as sometimes I had to reject projects that I really wanted to do. But that's it. I never thought about stopping," she said.
In "Write About Love", which also stars Rocco Nacino, Yeng Constantino, and Joem Bascom, Ocampo plays an aspiring writer who wants to make a movie about love despite not having experienced it herself.
The film will be released in cinemas as part of the Metro Manila Film Festival line-up on 25 December.
