Mila Donates to Planned Parenthood in VP's Name
On Conan, Mila Kunis shared that she set up a donation to Planned Parenthood in the Vice President Mike Pence's name, and I can't stop laughing. It's my favorite thing.
Pence is a longtime opponent of women's rights, in particular a woman's right to bodily autonomy and her right to choose, and so Mila, along with thousands of other people, decided to let the VP know.
“I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do,” Kunis told Conan on Thursday night's show. "And so, as a reminder that there are women in the world that may or may not agree with his platform, I put him on a list of reoccurring donations that are made in his name to Planned Parenthood."
Here's where the audience loses it with cheering, and so do I.
"So this happens every month?" Conan asks, laughing.
"Every month, to his office, he gets a little letter that says 'an anonymous donation has been made in your name," Mila says. "I don't look at it as a prank, I look at it just as, I strongly disagree [with him], and this is my little way of showing it."
