Miki Yeung enjoys being a mother
25 Apr – Hong Kong singer Miki Yeung has really been enjoying her life as a mother since the birth of son Luken a year ago that getting back to work would not be an easy thing to do.
The singer, who appeared at a brand event recently, was happy to talk about her son - who has just turned one-year-old on 31 March - when asked by the media.
"Times flies. Compared to when he was a baby, I am more proud of him now. He now understands everything, so it's harder to leave him," she said according to Mingpao.
However, Miki stated that needs to have the balance in her life, and that she and her husband Edwin have a consensus about their career and family life.
When asked if she is ready for baby number two, the singer said that she would love to have another child.
"I would love to have a daughter, but I won't mind another son as well. Then Luken will have a brother to play with," she said.
When mentioned that good friend Kary Ng is also pregnant, Miki enthused, "Being a mother is really great. I am happy for her. Having a kid is a turning point in a woman's life."
