Mickey Chu makes TVB comeback with new series

13 Sep – It was reported that former TVB actor Mickey Chu is set to make his comeback with a new drama, "Unbelievable Cases" (working title).

As reported on HK01, the actor, who was last seen in a TVB drama back in 2007 when he played a role in Nadia Chan's starrer, "Doomed To Oblivion", will work alongside stars like Ruco Chan and Rosina Lam in the upcoming project.

It was noted that the actor left TVB in 2007 and started working with rival broadcaster ATV soon after. He also filmed two series with RTHK, before expanding his career in mainland China - his last series being the mainland period drama, "The General and I".

Asked about Mickey's return, producer Lau Ka Ho stated that the actor will be featured in one of the stories in the series.

"The series will have ten different cases and he will be playing a character in one of the cases. We will not reveal the story just yet," he said.

Among other old faces who will be joining the cast include Joman Chiang and Gabriel Harrison.
