Michelle Obama’s Stirring DNC Speech Gets Rousing Hollywood Reaction
First Lady Michelle Obama had delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia on their feet tonight with her powerful speech, which got similarly strong reaction on Twitter. President Barack Obama was joined by a string of Hollywood stars in heaping praise on the eloquent address that made the case for Hillary Clinton becoming the next President of the United States while taking subtle jabs at her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, without mentioning him by name.
Incredible speech by an incredible woman. Couldn’t be more proud & our country has been blessed to have her as FLOTUS. I love you, Michelle.

Many responded to the emotion and personal elements in the speech, in which Michelle Obama spoke about raising her children in the White House, noting that the upcoming Presidential election is not about left or right, Republican or Democrat, but instead, it’s about “who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years of their lives.”
