Michelle Dee not ready to join beauty pageants
19 Apr – Michelle Dee is not saying no to joining the pageant circuit like her mother, although now is not the time.
As reported on PEP, the Kapuso actress, who is also the daughter of former Miss International 1979 Melanie Marquez, shared that she has no plans to try her luck at the Binibining Pilipinas this year.
"I am not joining it this early, but hopefully one day. I will do it when the time is right," said the 23-year-old.
When asked if her mother - who was also the youngest winner of the said pageant at 15 - has any advice about joining pageants, the model said, "She just tells me to give 110 percent in everything that I do."
"I don't want to go and do something when I am not ready. I don't want to do something half-heartedly," she added.
Dee also stated that her mother never pushes her to follow certain path and has always been supportive of her choices.
