Foodies in Singapore have another reason to rejoice, because the first-ever MICHELIN guide Street Food Festival is coming to town this April.

To be held on 14 and 15 April 2017 in the Coliseum at Resorts World Sentosa, this is the first time that the public can savour food from different Michelin-starred eateries under one roof.

One-, two- and three-Michelin star and Bib Gourmand eateries will be showcasing their signature dishes, with both local and international street food favourites.

The festival will feature 12 Michelin-starred restaurants and Bib Gourmand eateries altogether, with prices starting from $2.50.

Festival-goers can look forward to affordable fare from some of Singapore’s best eateries, such as local Michelin-star hawker Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle, Bib Gourmand awardee Wedang, one-star Indian restaurant Song of India, two-star Japanese restaurant Shoukouwa and three-star Joël Robuchon Restaurant.

The MICHELIN guide Street Food Festival will feature a retro theme to reflect Singapore’s vibrant food culture in the 60s and 70s.

A lucky draw will also be held for each of the festival’s four seatings, and eight lucky winners stand to win a bottle of champagne worth $138.

The first seating for the festival is from 6pm to 8pm, with the second seating from 8.30pm to 10.30pm. The festival only accepts coupons, and a minimum purchase of $20 worth of coupons is required to enter. VIP tickets are $150 per person and entitle holders to a tasting portion from all stalls and a choice of drink.

Tickets can be purchased online at guide.michelin.sg from 9 March 2017.
