Michael Miu denies recommending Lawrence Ng for "Flying Tiger 2"

7 Nov – Hong Kong actor Michael Miu has denied rumours saying that he requested for Lawrence Ng to be cast in the sequel of his hit Shaw Brothers' series, "Flying Tiger".

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the press conference of the said drama recently, shared that Lawrence's involvement in the sequel has nothing to do with him.

"I think he is familiar with the director and the producer, and I know for a fact that they have already wanted to cast him in the last episode of the drama," he said.

In the upcoming series, Lawrence Ng will play Poon Hok Wing, the Commissioner of Police and Michael Miu's superior. He will be the one asking Michael's character to form an A Team to investigate international crimes infiltrating Hong Kong.

It was revealed that most of Lawrence's scenes will be with Michael.
