Michael Lai treats himself with luxury items since separation
13 Jul – Now that he is no longer tied to Gillian Chung, sources claim that Michael Lai seemed happier splurging and treating himself to luxury items.
As reported on Mingpao, compared to the singer, who kept a low-profile since signing the separation agreement from her Taiwanese husband, Michael has been actively updating his social media accounts and sharing his work and life with followers, as well as promoting his aesthetic clinic.
He was also revealed to have splurged around HKD 2.18 million to buy a new luxury car and two expensive paintings from friends, as well as other branded items.
According to the aesthetician's friends, Michael hasn't treated himself for more than a year and had instead used all his money on his wife and footing all her bills in order to win Gillian's love.
