British-Tamil musician M.I.A. is curating this years' Meltdown festival and has outlined her thematic vision of "new outlaw musicians" with performances from New York's Young M.A, Scotland's Young Fathers and Sweden's Yung Lean among the first reveals.

Young Fathers open the June 9-18 festival and MIA is to close it out.

Afrikan Boy, Crystal Castles, Dexta Daps and I Wayne, Tommy Genesis (supporting Young M.A), MHD and Mr. Eazi, and JD Samson and Mykki Blanco have also been announced.

"I'm bringing together new outlaw musicians from everywhere, who have contributed to keeping things weird, exciting, opinionated, loud, emotional and brave or off the grid in the present climate," said M.I.A.

The annual festival takes place at the Southbank Centre in London, UK. Pre-sale tickets are made available to members on April 4 before general ticket sales begin April 6, 2017.
