James Hetfield is making his big screen debut in "Ted Bundy".

13 Feb – Lead vocalist and co-founder of Metallica, James Hetfield, will be making his silver screen debut in the upcoming "Ted Bundy".

Metallica's Instagram page announced that James will be playing Officer Bob Hayward, a veteran highway patrol officer in Utah.

Directed by Joe Berlinger, the movie follows the story of the relationship between Ted Bundy (Zac Efron), a malevolent serial killer, and his ex-girlfriend (Lily Collins) who was clueless of the crimes he has committed at the time.

James' character was also responsible for the arrest of Bundy in 1975 as well as discovering all his burglary tools in his car. However, Hayward suspects that was not the end of Ted Bundy and he will be coming back alongside dangers that are far worse than what he has already committed.

Although James has past experience as an actor before, this will be his first dramatic role in a character that has personalities outside of his own.
