Lady Gaga pulls off four red carpet outfit changes at the Met Gala 2019

Famed for her outlandish wardrobe, it’s as though the Met Gala 2019 theme of ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion’ was designed for Lady Gaga – and the actress deserves yet another Oscar for tonight’s red carpet entrance.

Decked in a frothy hot pink dress by close friend Brandon Maxwell, the 33-year-old arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC with a suited and booted (umbrella-carrying) entourage.

On the famous Met steps, her faux bodyguards held up the singer’s impressive 25-foot train but before the paparazzi could admire the ensemble, she promptly shrugged the dress off to reveal a sleeker cold-shoulder gown beneath.

If the little black number wasn’t enough to please the camera-yielding crowd, the ‘A Star is Born’ actress then teased us with a third outfit.

This time, it was a Barbie-hued spaghetti strap dress which she accessorised with a brick-sized telephone and gem-emblazoned sunglasses plucked from the nineties.

Before iPhone-clutching millennials could even ‘gram the first three outfit changes, Lady Gaga showcased a fourth – a glitzy lingerie set complete with fishnet tights.

Though that wasn’t enough, as a bespoke ‘Haus of Gaga’ drinks trolley (brimming with bottles of bubbly) proved the perfect party accessory.

Unsurprisingly, social media users from across the globe were impressed by her performance and she was soon trending on Twitter before the annual bash even began.
