Melania Trump Pulled a Major Face After Shaking Vladimir Putin's Hand

Donald Trump's meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin on Monday was disaster-like for many reasons, but one totally overlooked part of it was the precise moment in which Melania Trump shook Putin's hand and ended up with a look of pure terror on her face. Seriously, it was caught on camera for the entire world to see.

Yep. Yeppppppp. She eventually turned that frown upside down but the damage was done, the moment had been captured, and the internet spent a good chunk of time talking about how terrified she looked.

It almost feels a little like... this?

The meeting between Trump and Putin was widely criticized by those on both sides of the aisle. In a joint press conference after the meeting, Trump asserted that the American intelligence community was wrong when it came to the investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

“My people came to me,” he said in the press conference on Monday, “They said they think it’s Russia. I have President Putin; he just said it’s not Russia. I will say this: I don’t see any reason why it would be.”

In response to huge wave of backlash he faced, Trump said the following day that he had misspoken.

“The sentence should have been, ‘I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be Russia,’ sort of a double negative,” he said. “So you can put that in, and I think that probably clarifies things pretty good.”

And he tweeted this to follow up.
