A royal tour of Canada for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is reportedly in the works.

According to Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to visit the United States and Canada in 2019 – with their bundle of joy in tow.

Earlier this year, TMZ reported that the couple were planning a spring 2019 tour of the US and Canada. However, after the newlyweds announced they were expecting their first child, the visit was pushed back to autumn.

Nicholl offered some insights into the tour, revealing that a source close to the Duchess said that Markle and Harry are “keen” to take the trip abroad “as a family.”

While the exact dates are unknown, Markle’s early spring due date will likely dictate.

Nicholl says that Markle has plans on working “right up to her due date” and is feeling “fit and well and wants to continue working as long as possible.”

If Harry and Markle’s tour is anything like Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s tours of Canada in 2011 and 2016, the pair will have non-stop engagements.

In 2011, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in Canada in June, less than two months after tying the knot. The newlyweds toured Ottawa, where they celebrated Canada Day, before heading to Montreal, Quebec City and venturing to Prince Edward Island and Northwest Territories before ending their trip in Alberta.

On their visit in September 2016, the Cambridge clan arrived in full force with Prince George and Princess Charlotte in tow.

The eight-day tour took place primarily in British Columbia, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte accompanying their parents to a tea party in Victoria, B.C. for the children of military members.

With a new baby and more royal tours on the horizon, 2019 is shaping up to be another monumental year for Harry and Meghan!
