Meghan Markle Hinted at Dating Prince Harry Months Ago and We Didn't Even Notice
In November 2016, Kensington Palace confirmed Prince Harry's relationship with girlfriend Meghan Markle, a couple of weeks after rumors broke about the couple's romance. But Markle had secretly hinted that they were dating a month earlier.
In an interview from October 2016, the actress let slip that she had just been on a trip to London, according to a clip found by Entertainment Tonight. You can probably guess the reason why she was there. "I flew in last night from London. I'm leaving from here to go back to Toronto because we're still filming," she said in a sit-down with Create & Cultivate.
ET also points out that in the video, she's wearing the bracelet she and Harry both have.
The hint was vague at the time, but looking back now, it makes perfect sense. The pair reportedly first met in May 2016 and the actress has made multiple trips to London since then, while keeping their romance private. Months later, now that their relationship is publicly confirmed, the couple has met each other's families and has been seen out together on dates around London.
