The Duchess of Sussex has made a surprise appearance at a photoshoot for her forthcoming charitable workwear line.

In two Instagram stories posted on Sussex Royal, Meghan, 38, hugs models and beams as a photographer snaps away.

She even adjusts the belt of a model’s dress, before viewing the images on the screen and clapping her hands with delight.

The new mum to three-month-old baby Archie wore a blue striped shirt by British brand With Nothing Underneath, with skinny jeans and nude Stuart Weitzman pumps in the behind-the-scenes footage.

Meghan has partnered with high street chains Marks & Spencer, John Lewis and Jigsaw, along with her fashion designer friend Misha Nonoo to create a capsule collection.

The collaboration will benefit Smart Works, the charity which helps unemployed and vulnerable women back into the workplace.

The duchess became patron of the nationwide organisation in January and has visited their office in a public and private capacity.

“For each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to charity,” Meghan revealed in the September issue of British Vogue, which she guest edited.

She adds: “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”

So what else do we know about the collection?

It’s set to launch this autumn when Meghan is likely to return to her royal duties.

Fashion bloggers Meghan’s Mirror & UFO No More have also predicted what we’ll see in the womenswear line, based on sneak peeks from the Instagram stories.

In one corner, two tote bags can be seen, which look a lot like Meghan’s go-to Everlane style, worn to her first public appearance with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games Toronto in 2017.

In another shot, from the back one model looks to be wearing a fitted black blazer and then Meghan is seen adjusting a black midi dress.

In the last clip, the duchess claps her hands as she looks at images from the shoot and a model wearing a white shirt and what appears to be black trousers can be seen on the screen.

It’s very reminiscent of Meghan’s style. We know the duchess loves a tailored two-piece and a classic white shirt - the Alexander McQueen outfit worn to the Endeavour Fund Awards in February 2018, the Givenchy suit for her visit to Ireland in July 2018.

She also has a number of little black dresses in her repertoire, including bespoke Givenchy pieces, the Stella McCartney belted style worn recently to a baseball game and the best-selling Marks & Spencer £55 frock.

We can’t wait to see the full collection. Watch this space.
