Megan Thee Stallion is opening up with more details about the shooting she endured last month.

The "Savage" rapper took to Instagram Live on Thursday to dispute any rumors or Twitter fodder that alleged she was lying about the extent of her injuries after being shot in the foot after leaving a party. In her candid comments, Megan assured fans she would never lie about something so serious and eventually named the person who allegedly shot her as fellow musician Tory Lanez. Megan stated that she did not originally identify her shooter because she didn't want her shooter to experience any further escalation with police officials who were at the scene.

At the time, Lanez was arrested and charged with possession of a concealed weapon, but not charged in regards to the shooting, according to CNN. He hasn't publicly responded to Megan's comments.

"Yes...Tory shot me. You shot me and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs lying," said Megan, after naming Lanez. "You shot me! I didn't get cut by no glass. I didn't tell the police immediately what happened right there because I didn't want to die."

"I tried to just be cool ... stay out the way ... because at the end of the day I'm really a real bitch, I'm from Houston, I'm from the m*********ing south side, it ain't a 'oh let me run and tell my business to the internet, let me go run and tell my business to the police,'" explained Megan. "I have never been that type of person. But I'm not going to let ya'll keep playing in my face."

A day before Megan went on Instagram to further explain the incident, she also shared a photo of her healing foot after people began to question whether she had truly been shot as the rapper continued to publicly promote and celebrate her new single with Cardi B, "WAP."

Megan later deleted the post, but per Entertainment Tonight, she wrote a clear message to naysayers who doubted her injury.

"Why would I lie abt [sic] getting shot? Why are y'all so upset that I don't wanna be in the bed sad ? Why y'all upset that I can walk?" wrote Megan. "I got my stitches out my feet like 2 weeks ago and I was ready to go celebrate 'WAP' going number 1 ... God was really watching over me and I'm healing so well."
