Meg Imperial denies joining the Kapuso network

The Viva actress says she is only working with GMA-7 on "D'Originals"

23 Mar - Although she is set to star in the upcoming GMA-7 comedy drama series, "D'Originals", Meg Imperial denied that she is signing an exclusive contract with the Kapuso network.

As reported on PEP News, the actress, who is set to star in the upcoming drama with Jaclyn Jose, Kim Domingo, and LJ Reyes, stated that she is still loyal to her management company, Viva, despite her work with rival networks, GMA-7 and ABS-CBN.

"I am still with Viva. But I didn't sign any contract with the networks, so, I'm a freelancer. Right now I am doing a show with GMA since I have worked with the director [Adolf Alix Jr.] in the movie "Chain Mail" in the past," she said.

When asked why she decided to work with GMA, Imperial stated that it was just an opportunity that has come along.

"We all need work. So when the opportunity comes along, I just grab it. For now, I know there is a show for me. I'm not sure if it will continue. But I am looking forward to more work, of course," she added.
