Meet this "Star Wars" actress at Marina Bay Sands

21 Nov – The annual Marina Bay Sands Festive Light-Up returns this year with a theme "Star Wars" fans would no doubt love.
Marina Bay Sands' free-to-public outdoor light and water show Spectra is taking on the theme "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" for the light-up that will be taking place at the Event Plaza this Saturday.
"Joining us on the red carpet from a galaxy far, far away will be special guest, Kelly Marie Tran," says a post on its official Facebook, announcing that the "The Last Jedi" actress will be part of the upcoming event.
The American actress will be seen in the upcoming movie as Rose Tico, described as a Resistance member who works in maintenance.
Marina Bay Sands Festive Light-Up will begin at 8pm on 25 November, the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi"-themed light and water show will combine lasers, lights and water movements with visuals from the movie. The show will also be set to original music from the hit franchise.
Those who can't make it this weekend can catch another performance on 15 December at 8.30pm.
