That’s right: Everyone’s favourite warrior, the McDonald’s Samurai Burger, is returning to Singapore.

The well-loved burger will be available after breakfast hours in all McDonald’s restaurants and via McDelivery from Friday (13 October), McDonald’s said in a press release on Thursday (12 October).

Customers can have their Samurai Burger with either a succulent grilled chicken patty or juicy quarter-pound beef patty. This is slathered in teriyaki sauce and laid atop a bed of crunchy lettuce and placed between lightly-toasted sesame buns.

An à-la-carte Samurai Burger is priced at S$6, but customers can opt for a Samurai Special (S$8.80) that includes Seaweed Shaker Fries and a refreshing Heaven & Earth Green Tea.

Another McDonald’s favourite to look out for is the Matcha McFlurry with Red Bean, which will be available from Friday as well. The ice cream is priced at S$3 and is available while stocks last.

McDonald’s also teased the launch of a new burger that will hit the stores some time after the Samurai Burger’s return. Other than the name ‘Ninja Burger’, no other details about it were provided.

Earlier in July, in anticipation of National Day, the fast-food chain launched a locally-inspired menu including the much-talked-about “Nasi Lemak” Burger, Coconut Pie and Chendol Melaka Cone.
