"Maze Runner's" Ki Hong Lee to lead a high school dark comedy

Ki Hong Lee's next project is a high school dark comedy.

24 Mar – "Maze Runner" alumnus Ki Hong Lee will star in a new dark comedy flick called "Looks That Kill".

Fresh off his performance in the final "Maze Runner" movie that was released early this year, Deadline reported that the Korean-American actor will join Brandon Flynn and Julia Goldani Telles as the leads.

Kellen Moore, who wrote the screenplay, will also direct the movie, making it her directorial debut.

"Looks That Kill", which will begin shooting this month, is the third movie from the newly formed American High. The production company will produce more movies that take place in high school, including "Holly Slept Over" and "Banana Split".

The movie follows 16-year-old high schooler Max Richards, who is forced to live in isolation due to his lethally attractive face.

Brandon Flynn and Julia Goldani Telles will also star in "Looks That Kill".

Ki Hong Lee was last seen in "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" and will appear in "The Public" later this year.

His co-star Flynn, who is famous for his role in Netflix's controversial series "13 Reasons Why", will star in another TV series which is season three of "True Detective"; whereas Telles will mark her movie debut in this year's horror, "Slenderman".
