Mayday amasses millions of views for 31 May concert
2 Jun – It was reported that Mayday has amassed more than 40 million views from their recent online concert.
As reported on Mingpao, the announcement was made on 1 June, with the band's rep revealing that the online views for the concert has reached 42.4 million and continues to climb.
Mayday held the "Live in the Sky" concert on 31 May, which took place at the Taipei Municipal Stadium for a whole hour. Although there was no live audience, the stage production was still of high value with four stages, a cubic stage, and the 16,000 seats filled with glow sticks to represent the fans.
The band performed many of their hit songs, including, "Eternal Summer", "An Apple", and "Suddenly Missing You", and even had a virtual duet with several guest performers including Chinese singer Li Ronghao.
The said concert was dedicated to medical frontliners who made their sacrifice in the struggle against COVID-19.
