Love Island Games, which will add a more competitive element to the traditional format, was first confirmed in April.
Now the Peacock show has unveiled its host and premiere date, with UK series presenter Maya taking the reins for the Fiji-set series when it begins on November 1.
"Hi everyone! I have some very, very exciting news," Maya said in an Instagram video. "I'm off to Fiji for the first-ever Love Island Games! It's going to be amazing.
"Your favourites from Love Island UK, USA and Australia, plus some more are going to be over there. So who do you want to come back and snatch the crown? I'm off, I will see you on Peacock, Love Island Games. Let's go!"
As part of the show's format, couples will team up as part of challenges, with the eventual winners named Love Island global champions.
Maya has hosted the UK series since earlier this year, taking over as presenter from Laura Whitmore.
Speaking last month, Maya revealed why she would never be a contestant on the show, admitting that those who take part have a "different kind of juice".
“I would not be able to, at any age, strut out of the house in a bikini in front of men that are judging me based on just one sentence and what I look like," she told British Vogue.
"The confidence of the people that go on! They’ve got a different kind of juice.”
The star has also spoken on criticism over the lack of diversity and beauty standards on Love Island, saying: "I don’t know. I always want to watch any show and be like, 'There’s someone from everywhere'.
"You can’t please everybody."
Love Island Games will begin on November 1 on Peacock. Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
