Maureen Wroblewitz: Hosting is not for me

28 May – After her short stint on "Eat Bulaga" sparked a lot of speculations about her relationship with the show, Mauren Wroblewitz finally admitted that hosting is just not for her.

As reported on PEP, the model, who spoke about her departure from the Kapuso show in mid-2019, stated that she actually accepted the offer to do the show in the past as a means to challenge herself with something new.

"I like to get out of my comfort zone, because I'm introverted, and I like the challenge. If it's something that makes you nervous, it's a good sign. I like to do a lot of different things, I don't want to get stuck in one place," she said.

However, after working on the said show, she realised that she may not be suited for hosting.

"I could do some hosting, but I didn't really feel comfortable hosting. Because I have stage fright, and I don't like to constantly talk in front of a such a big crowd," she said.

The former "Asia's Next Top Model: Cycle 5" winner also admitted that her lack of fluency in Tagalog also played a role in her difficulty of working as a host on the show.

"Hosting was fun, but then I'm not really sure if I want to pursue hosting," she said.

When asked what she wants to do now, the model stated that she is now acting, after signing with Erik Matti's Reality Entertainment Inc.
