10 Aug – Asia's Next Top Model Cycle 5 winner Maureen Wroblewitz is hopeful that another Filipina will win the upcoming season of the hit reality show.
As reported on PEP, the Fil-German model, who spoke about the two representatives from Philippines Adela-Mae Marshall and Jach Manere, stated that the two competitors are strong models who have the chance to win the title.
"I've known Adela. I think she started modelling when she was 18, like me. I feel like she is a strong model, and so is Jach. I definitely think that we have another chance this year," she said.
When asked if she has any advice for both Marshall and Manere, Wroblewitz said that preparation is key.
"You should prepare mentally and physically because it's a hard competition. There can be girls who are going to hate on you like with me. There can be lot of challenges that can really get to you and your emotions. You won't be able to see your family, so you just really have to be prepared," she said.
As to whether she will appear on the new cycle, she smiled and said "You'll have to see."
Cycle 6 of "Asia's Next Top Model" will premiere on 22 August.
