Matthew Weiner set to return to the small screen with new project for Amazon
"Mad Men" creator Matthew Weiner is working on a new project that will be streamed on Amazon.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Weiner's next project is a contemporary anthology series set in multiple locations around the world.
Though details on the plot are scarce, Amazon has already ordered eight episodes straight to series.
In addition to creating the project, Weiner will serve as writer and executive produce half the episodes.
Since the finale of "Mad Men" aired last spring, Weiner has lent his directing skills to Netflix's "Orange is the New Black."
