Matthew Ho feels no pressure for "Life on the Line"

15 Oct – Stars of the new TVB series, "Life on the Line" have denied feeling the pressure of having to succeed the mainland period drama, "Story of Yanxi Palace" in viewership ratings after the success of the said series.

As reported on Mingpao, actor Matthew Ho who appeared at the promotional event of the said drama recently, stated that he is not pressured by the fact that his drama is taking over the slot following the conclusion of "Yanxi", and that he is hopeful that the drama will be able to touch viewers.

"There are no boring scenes at all in the first ten episodes. There is a lot of emotional scenes and the drama has a good script, so I don't feel any pressure," he said.

He also added in jest that the pressure should fall instead on the lead actor Joe Ma.

As for Kelly Cheung, the model said that the two dramas are different in every way. While "Story of Yanxi Palace" is a period drama revolving around the royal court, "Life on the Line" chronicles the lives of paramedics in modern times.

"Life on the Line also has a lot of moving plots. It is worth enjoying," said the actress, who admitted to have enjoyed watching the period drama as well.
