Matthew Ho denies romantic rendezvous with Rebecca Zhu in Thailand
23 Aug – TVB actor Matthew Ho has dismissed the idea that he had a private birthday event with fellow actress Rebecca Zhu in Thailand, which had since fuelled rumours of romance between them.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who was spotted in the Southeast Asian country with the actress recently, shared that they were actually there with friends and families.
"There were more than a dozen people with us, and we booked a homestay," he said.
Asked if Rebecca had given him a birthday gift, Matthew smiled and said that all of his friends have sent him presents.
In a previous interview, Rebecca stated that the Thailand trip was not only to celebrate Matthew's birthday, but also the birthdays of all their friends who were born in August.
"I had nothing scheduled that week, so it was the perfect time for me to go on a vacation," she said.
