If you’ve been holding out for more Gilmore Girls, it’s starting to look less likely (at least anytime in the near future) as most of the talented stars have new projects in the works keeping them busy. And our favorite rich boy Logan is no exception. Matt Czuchry is starring in a new TV show on Fox. Plus, Alexis Bledel is in the upcoming series The Handmaid’s Tale and Lauren Graham is also coming back to TV in a new Fox show. So yeah, there could be plenty of Gilmore Girls alumni on your TV screen in the coming year and that’s something to celebrate!

Matt Czuchry, who was most recently in the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life reboot on Netflix, now has a show to call his own. And he might need some tips on how to rock a pair of scrubs from his old The Good Wife co-star Julianna Margulies because Matt is going from lawyer to doctor in his new show called The Resident. We’ve watched enough medical TV shows to know that the “resident” in the title likely refers to Matt’s position in his medical program. #obvi

According to TV Line, here’s what we know so far about the pilot, which if picked up (we’ll likely hear in May) would receive more episodes:

“[The Resident] centers on Devon Pravesh (played by Halt and Catch Fire‘s Manish Dayal), an idealistic young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident, Conrad Hawkins (played by Czuchry), who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.”

We have our fingers crossed that this pilot makes it onto our TVs because doesn’t everyone just want more Logan Huntzberger in their life?!
