Marvel eyes Hannah Quinlivan for supporting role in "Black Widow"

24 Apr – Taiwanese model-actress Hannah Quinlivan was named one of the few actresses to be in the running for Marvel's upcoming new project, "Black Widow".

As reported on Seehua, the news was shared by husband Jay Chou on social media, who posted an article which mentioned that the studio may cast "Riverdale" star Camila Mendes, and is looking for an actress of colour aged 15-25 for a supporting role in the movie.

The article stated that other young stars reportedly being looked at by the studio include "Storm Reid ("A Wrinkle In Time"), Isabela Moner ("Dora the Explorer"), and Hannah Quinlivan (Skyscraper)."

"Wow! You've been spotted!" Jay enthused on Instagram.

On the other hand, Hannah has also clarified misunderstanding from fans who thought she would play the Black Widow herself, writing on Weibo, "Scarlett Johansson is irreplaceable. I love her very much."

The actress previously worked with Hollywood star Dwayne Johnson in the Hollywood action film, "Skyscraper".
