When it comes to autumn/winter style, Marks & Spencer deserves the crown.

And, M&S has pulled it out of the bag again with this satin snakeskin print midi-dress.
The brand posted the pleated midi on Instagram and like us, fans of the versatile dress were virtually swooning at the very sight of it.

We’ve seen a rejuvenation of slinky satin and silk dresses over the summer, and we’re pleased the trend isn’t going anywhere before Christmas.
After all, isn’t it just the dream Christmas day dress?
It fans out into a pleated midi skirt with a waisted shape around the middle, which means it’s both flattering with or without a belt.
The high neckline is accentuated with a scarf necktie at the back and button-up cuffs on the wrists.
Much like that Zara dress, this dress has risen in popularity due to its versatility.
For work, combine this multi-seasonal dress with a pair of chunky black boots and a longline coat. Chuck on a pair of your favourite strappy heels and you can go straight to after work drinks - or to a wedding, for that matter.

If you’re not convinced by the colour palette, M&S has also released a more muted version in black and white for the same price.
While the fit is identical to that of its Christmassy counterpart, the pattern features a slightly daintier (almost floral) print, instead.
