Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado reunite in new drama
18 Jan – It was revealed that Jennylyn Mercado is set to reunite with actor Mark Herras in the upcoming drama, "The Cure".
As reported on PEP, the two stars, whose tandem MarkJen was one of the top love teams in the mid noughties, is set to star in the drama which reportedly revolves around a family fighting against an epidemic.
The couple last worked together in the 2014 series, "Rhodora X".
The drama was originally slated for 2013 production, and was rumoured to star Louis delos Reyes and Alden Richards, however, it was shelved for a long time before it was eventually taken out for this year's broadcast.
Joining the cast is actors Tom Rodriguez, LJ Reyes, and Jaclyn Jose, as well as Ken Chan and Arra San Agustin.
