This Mark Hamill Video Will Force You to Rethink Your Moviegoing Habits
The growing indie theater chain Alamo Drafthouse has long been known for their firm, funny, and sometimes profane PSAs reminding moviegoers to keep their mouths shut and their phones off. They’ve even enlisted various stars to their noble cause like Patton Oswalt and Will Ferrell. In their latest clip though, they’re bringing in the big blaster gun: Mark Hamill himself.
The actor has been pretty active of late with a cameo in the new action movie Kingman: The Secret Service, in addition to that little ole’ Star Wars sequel that’s coming later this year. But he took a moment out of his busy schedule to respectfully remind Drafthouse audiences that he’s learned a lot about mayhem in his capacity as both Luke Skywalker and the voice of the animated Joker in the Batman TV series. So if anyone talks during the movie, “I will unleash an entire Secret Service made up of insane clowns brandishing lightsabers, and I will have them completely destroy you!” Question from the peanut gallery: Will that be classic lightsabers or those silly new crossguard ones?
