Mark Chao denies rumours with Dilraba Dilmurat

19 Oct - Taiwanese actor Mark Chao has dismissed rumours that he had an affair with Uyghur actress Dilraba Dilmurat.

As reported on UDN, rumours of romance between the two sparked when sources claimed that the actress was seen knocking on Mark's hotel room door while they were filming "Eternal Love" last year.

When asked about it recently, Mark stated that the two of them didn't even have a lot of scenes together, which means it is strange for them to develop any special relationship.

"This rumour is absolutely ridiculous," said Mark, adding that even his wife, Chinese actress Gao Yuanyuan, found it amusing.

"She asked why the tabloids would pair me up with Dilraba, and that they should thought of a more believable story," he said.

He later added that Gao was also with him while he was shooting the drama, further strengthening the fact that the rumours are rubbish.
