Mark Bautista sells paintings for charity

3 Jun – Mark Bautista recently revealed that he has auctioned off his paintings for the sake of charity.

As reported on GMA News, the singer shared the said effort on "Unang Hirit", saying that he donated the proceeds from the auction to COVID-19 relief operations focusing on assisting those who are in need during the pandemic.

"I studied Architecture in the past, but didn't finish it. So this is the best time to awaken my love for art. It had been hard to find inspiration, but now I have it again," he said.

Bautista stated that he actually had done two to three paintings while on lockdown and was able to sell them to assist with the effort.

"I know it is hard to raise money nowadays, so I am thankful that there are those who supported it," he added.

On the other hand, the singer is also launching his newest single, "Halik sa Hangin", which he wrote himself and will be released on Spotify on 5 June.

Aside from Bautista, actress Heart Evangelista also recently sold her painting for charity.
