Marie Zhuge confused about Xenia Chong's departure

26 Sep - Model-turned-artiste manager Marie Zhuge has denied reports saying that her company has forced its estranged artiste, Xenia Chong, to take on a project that she wasn't comfortable with.

As reported on Mingpao, Marie, who attended an event the same day Xenia held her press conference, stated, "In my line of work, it is important for me to understand their joy and pain, and help solve their problem. I never force anybody to do what they don't want to do. I don't know where this thing is coming from."

Marie also stressed that Xenia has never said anything about ending their collaboration when they talked to each other before, and was surprised that the actress is now singing a different tune.

She also revealed that all matters have been submitted to their lawyers and will not discuss more about the issue.

As for news of Xenia's previously unexposed failed marriage, Marie stressed that she has nothing to do with it since it wasn't made known to her. She also stated that the two of them never fought with each other.

"In fact, this is a very confusing situation. I don't know. I feel very helpless," she added.
