It's never too late to start working on those goals for the new year. And if organization is one goal you plan to slay, organizing guru Marie Kondo has unveiled a collaboration that will have you terribly tidy in 2021. The host of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo took to her Instagram page this week to announce her new line with The Container Store.

Hailing the collaboration as "big news," Kondo revealed that she used feedback from fans and followers to help craft the line of organizing tools, which will be released January 2021.

"Over the years, you’ve shared your tidying successes, struggles and storage needs," Kondo wrote in her Instagram caption. "I used your feedback to develop a sustainable line that would spark joy and deliver the versatility and expertise The Container Store is famous for. I am so proud of what we have created together and can’t wait to reveal more soon."

It's a natural partnership for The Container Store, whose products make organizing easy and chic.

“When ‘Tidying Up’ premiered in 2019 and consumers immediately connected decluttering and organization with The Container Store, we knew that there was an opportunity to create something special with Marie,” said The Container Store chairwoman, CEO and president Melissa Reiff in a statement.

Unfortunately for eager organizing mavens-in-the-making, there is no word yet on what specific products will be featured in Kondo's collection with The Container Store.

But if the products from the organizing consultant/author's KonMari online store are any clue, you can expect items with plenty of compartments and of course an emphasis on Kondo's The KonMari Method. Created by Kondo herself, the method stresses the importance of "tidying by category – not by location."

Last year, Kondo quickly rose to fame as the host of Netflix's Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, a series that featured home makeovers with an emphasis on organization. She's also the author of several books on organizing.
