Margot Robbie Punched Alexander Skarsgard Filming Legend Of Tarzan Sex Scene
Margot Robbie’s primal urges came to the fore while shooting ‘The Legend Of Tarzan.’
In fact Robbie was so animalistic that she punched leading man Alexander Skarsgard in the face while filming a sex scene for the film.
Director David Yates made this revelation during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, taking some of the blame himself by admitting that he encouraged Robbie to get physical during their heated moment.
“They’re doing this love scene together, and I said, ‘Just slap Alex while you’re making love, just kind of give him a punch’,” Yates explained.
Robbie took this as an invitation to thwack Skarsgard in the face, which ended up giving the actor the only bruise of his time shooting the action adventure.
“It was sort of an earthy, sensual moment of her enjoying sex with Alex,” Yates continued. “And the only bruise he picked up during the entire shoot was probably that punch from Margot. Which says a lot about her feistiness.”
In ‘The Legend Of Tarzan’ Margot Robbie plays the Jane Porter to Alexander Skarsgard’s Tarzan, with the undeniably attractive leading pair supported by Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz, Djimon Hounsou, John Hurt, and Jim Broadbent.
Warner Bros. have spent $180 million on the blockbuster, which they hope will be the first of a franchise. However, ‘The Legend Of Tarzan’ will have its work cut out trying to claw back its huge budget, as it’s being released the in the USA a week after ‘Independence Day Resurgence’ and on the same day as Steven Spielberg’s ‘The BFG’.
‘The Legend of Tarzan’ will hit UK cinemas a week later, as it’s being released on July 8.
