Marcelito Pomoy feels like a winner despite loss

20 Feb – Although he didn't end up becoming the grand winner of the hit competition, "America's Got Talent", Marcelito Pomoy feels fortunate since he is receiving offers left and right.

The Pinoy singer, who spoke to ABS-CBN following the competition - where he was placed as the third runner-up - stated that his disappointment at not bringing glory back to the Philippines was immediately ceased by the reality that he has already gained much attention through the show.

"Even if I am only the third runner-up, being on "America's Got Talent" itself is a huge factor, because people all over the world will know who you are. Even during my auditions, a lot of people were inquiring about me, so I'm really happy," he said.

Pomoy added that he is scheduled to travel to many places including Canada, Japan, and Indonesia in the coming months.

"I am so thankful. If it weren't for "America's Got Talent", I wouldn't be where I am now, someone who is known by the whole world," he added.
