Mani Fok assures Gillian Chung is in stable condition

8 Sep – Talent manager Mani Fok has assured that everything is fine with Gillian Chung, who recently had to undergo treatment over a head injury.

As reported on Mingpao, Mani, who flew to Beijing after hearing the news of Gillian's injury, revealed that the singer has already undergone a brain scan and other examinations before getting her 6cm-long wound on the forehead stitched up.

She had since been sent to a specialist centre for further treatment.

"She is currently in a stable condition. Thank you for your concern," said Mani, who also praised Gillian for being a strong person.

The EEG manager added that the singer had wanted to return to work after treatment as it would be the last day of shooting, but was prevented from doing so in order to heal properly.

Earlier reports stated that Gillian fell down and hit her head on the edge of a piece of furniture in the wee morning of 7 August, after feeling dizzy while on her way to the bathroom. She was in Xiamen for work at the time.
