Mandy Wong doesn't mind new drama airing on Sundays

9 Mar – Although her new drama "Threesome" is only airing on Sundays, Mandy Wong stated that she is not worried about its viewership being affected by the broadcast schedule.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the promotional event with co-star Benjamin Yuen and Jason Chan recently, shared that rather than feel that the drama is at a disadvantage, the Sunday airing could make it feel more addictive.

"I think of it of more like American dramas that are being aired once a week," she said.

When asked what she thinks about being called the "Sunday Queen", Mandy laughed and said that she would be pleased to accept it.

As to whether she is confident about her chance at the year-end television awards - following the positive reception for her performance as a woman with dissociative identity disorders, Mandy stated that winning would be great as it means that the audiences approve of her performance.

"But it is still too early to tell. There will be a lot of great dramas airing this year, so I will face a lot of competition," she added.
