31 May – Following reports that Kyoko Fukada is taking a break from showbiz to focus on her health, it was recently revealed that fellow actress Manami Higa will be replacing her in the upcoming Fuji TV drama, "Oshi no Oujisama".

As reported on Mingpao, sources recently revealed that Manami will be taking over the role previously given to Kyoko as Hidaka Izumi, a CEO of a start-up company that develops romance games.
