Maja Salvador is nothing like her "Wildflower" character

The actress says she is more forgiving and has perfect control of her emotions

21 Feb - She may be playing a vengeful woman in her new drama, "Wildflower", but according to Maja Salvador, she is more of the forgive-and-forget kind of girl in real life, as reported on Inquirer.

In the said drama, the actress plays a beautiful girl named Lily, who transformed herself into a headstrong woman named Ivy to exact revenge against those who hurt her and her family in the past.

But when asked if she is as wild as her character Ivy, Salvador responded that the only time she is wild would be on the dance floor.

Salvador stated that her character Ivy was not just wild, she was also emotionally scarred, which is why she is out to get the people who caused her pain. But the real Maja Salvador is not the type to bear ill feelings at all, and has perfect control of her own emotions.

"I choose to forgive and forget. I just pray to God so that one day, [those who hurt me] will realise what they did was wrong and will learn to be happy for the blessings other people are receiving," she said.

As to her perfect revenge, Salvador stated that that would be surrounding herself with successful and accomplished people.

"Wildflower" also stars Vin Abrenica and Joseph Marco.
