Maja Salvador laughs at rumours about moving to GMA
17 Mar – Maja Salvador couldn't help but laugh when asked to clarify about certain rumours that she is moving to GMA-7.
As reported on PEP, the actress, who is currently working freelance, stated that she has read a lot of speculation about her current management status, even ones about her 'going Kamuning' - a term used by netizens to refer to artistes moving to GMA whose building is located on the main road of the aforementioned name.
It was also further fuelled by rumours of a collaboration between Salvador and Kapuso star Heart Evangelista.
Asked if GMA did offer her some filming projects, Salvador declined to give a straight answer, only responding, "I am very grateful that we have a lot of offers."
"There are many, even from PTV-4, RPN-9!" she added with a laugh, stating that she was originally worried that there would not be any due to the pandemic.
In the same interview, Salvador explained that her contract with ABS-CBN expired back in July even before the network's TV license issue. It was due to the expiry of her contract that former Star Magic's top guy Johnny Manahan decided to offer her a place on his new show, "Sunday Noontime Live" (SNL) on TV5, which prompted her to remain a freelancer until now.
