Maja Salvador didn't expect to win in Busan

10 Oct – Maja Salvador recently admitted that she never expected to win Best Actress at the inaugural Asia Contents Awards in Busan, South Korea.

As reported on ABS-CBN News, the actress, who spoke about her recent win following the event, stated that she has always tried to give her best in every drama, and never thought that the international audience would recognise her performance as Lily Cruz and Ivy Aguas in the hit series, "Wildflower".

"I am proud of all the series I have done and all the projects that I have worked on, but "Wildflower" was something new provided by ABS-CBN. It has really helped my career," she said, adding that she is thankful to ABS-CBN for it.

Salvador, who attended the event with boyfriend Rambo Nunez whom she called her "lucky charm", also revealed that she enjoyed her time there as she got to meet with a lot of Asian stars.v

"I was excited to meet one of the "Kingdom" stars from Netflix, and also stars of the "Naked Director". I didn't expect to be able to compete with such great actresses," she said.

Salvador's new project is the Kapamilya series, "The Killer Bride".
