Maisie Williams (aka, Arya) says to start preparing yourself NOW for Season 7 of “Game of Thrones”

Warning: This post contains a ridiculous amount of Game of Thrones spoilers.

Even though the Season 6 finale of Game of Thrones aired in June, it feels like it was just yesterday that I forgot how to breathe while watching our Khaleesi sail the Narrow Sea. Or getting chills when little Lyanna Mormont silenced a room of grown men before inspiring them to pledge their allegiance to the true King of the North, Jon Snow. Or when Cersei blew up a building full of her haters and tormentors and smiled from her window as she watched them all burn. And best of all, when Arya Stark finally avenged the Red Wedding by proudly slitting the throat of Walder Frey.

We still have a long way to go before Season 7 premieres in the summer of 2017, but until then, we can enjoy the confusing and exciting hints from cast members indicating that next season will be the greatest one yet. The most recent hint came in the form of a thrilling Twitter rant from Maisie Williams (aka Arya Stark), after she read the the scripts for Season 7. She didn’t say too much, obviously, but her reactions got all Game of Thrones fans jumping up and down with glee.

And that would’ve been more than enough to quench our thirst, but then she said THIS:

She gave us no new information. There were zero spoilers. We still have no clue who will live, and who will die.

You know what though? It was still enough. And that’s because Season 6 was arguably the best season of all – especially if you’re a proud feminist who enjoys seeing formerly silenced and defeated women take back their power. Which happened a LOT.

So if nothing prepared us for the twists and turns of Season 6, then we REALLY are not prepared for whatever Williams knows is coming in Season 7.

Are you excited? I’m excited. From now until the Season 7 premiere, we’re probably all going to remain excited. I’m sure of it.
