Though she’s no stranger to the FROW, Madonna‘s daughter, Lourdes Leon, made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week on Tuesday.

As models clomped down the runway at Gypsy Sport x Tumblr’s SS19 show in ultra-chunky dad trainers and palm leaf headpieces, celebrity fanatics soon spotted a familiar face on the runway.

Lourdes, 21, took to the catwalk in a shell-emblazoned chain bra.

In true millennial fashion, the 21-year-old’s look was finished with a pair of hip-grazing jeans and Hadid-inspired sunnies (oh, and not to forget the faux leaves strung through her hair).

In recent years, Lourdes has accompanied Madonna to a series of fashion shows and was last spotted on the front row at Alexander Wang SS17.

But her foray into the fashion sphere is hardly surprising, as she’s a close friend of Gypsy Sport’s founder Rio Uribe. According to the designer, Lourdes was the one to ask if she could walk the runway this season.

With one major runway moment caught on camera, this could spell the beginning of a career within the industry. And she’d be in good company with the likes of fellow A-list kids Kaia Gerber and Hailey Baldwin carving their own fashion footprint this season.
