Madonna Spends Thanksgiving With Homeless LGBT Youth: 'Everyone Deserves to Be Loved'
Madonna knows the power of love, which she demonstrated on Thursday, when she paid a visit to homeless LGBT youth at a New York City shelter.
The 58-year-old pop icon brought her rebel heart to the children and teens at Brooklyn's Ali Forney Center for Thanksgiving, documenting her random act of kindness in an Instagram pic posted on Friday.

"Had so much fun sharing Thanksgiving at the Ali Forney Center in Brooklyn!" Madonna wrote, explaining that the center is an empowering safe haven for LGBT youth. Named after a gender non-conforming teen who fled his home at age 13, the center cares for more than 1,200 youth who face rejection from their family for their identity.
The center's motivation, she wrote, simply, is "because everyone deserves to be loved and everyone deserves a home."
