Macaulay Culkin's brother says there are 'two sides' to the Michael Jackson abuse allegations
Kieran Culkin has responded to the abuse allegations that Michael Jackson has faced since HBO aired its controversial Leaving Neverland documentary.
In a new interview with The Guardian, the 36-year-old - who is the younger brother of Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin - was asked to clarify claims that he and his sibling used to sleep in the Thriller singer’s bed when they were younger.
He was also quizzed about what he thought of Wade Robson and James Safechuck accusing Jackson of sexual abuse more recently.
“The only thing I can say is that I can’t really say anything and the reason for that is I can’t be helpful to anyone,” Culkin replied, coyly.
“To me, it seems like there’s two sides to this thing and because I can’t be helpful on one side or the other, anything I say and anything that gets put out in print could only hurt somebody and there’s already a lot of really hurt feelings.

The Succession actor continued: “There are already a lot of people who are in a difficult position and if I contribute in any way, it’s just going to hurt someone because I can’t actually help.”
Earlier this year, Macaulay Culkin spoke out in support of Jackson on the Inside Of You podcast, having previously testified at the King of Pop’s child molestation trial in 2003.

“At the end of the day, it’s almost easy to say [our relationship] was weird or whatever but it wasn’t because it made sense,” he said of their closeness back then. “We were friends.”
He went on to say that they bonded over their shared experience of being in the limelight from a young age.
“I was a peerless person. Nobody else in my Catholic school had even this much idea of what I was going through and he was the kind of person who’d been through the exact same frickin’ thing and wanted to make sure I wasn’t alone.
“It never struck me as odd. I never felt uncomfortable.”
